What is METAPYXL?
Metapyxl is a visual media protection and licensing platform built for creators, brands, and agencies. We combine forensic watermarking, embedded licensing, and content tracking so your rights travel with your work wherever it goes.
Your work. Your rights. Your revenue.
Our Story
Founded by photographers. Built for creators, managers, and enterprises.
Metapyxl was founded out of a problem creative professionals know firsthand. As photographers and artists with over 25 years of experience, Tiffany Walling McGarity and John McGarity saw their work misused, uncredited, and shared without permission. Determined to take back control, they built a way to embed ownership, track content, and simplify licensing so creators could retain the rights to their work.
What started as a solution to their own problem quickly grew into a full platform. With Tiffany's expertise in commercial photography and rights management and John's background in branding and design, Metapyxl became more than a tool. It became infrastructure for protecting, licensing, and monetizing creative work at any scale.
Jennifer Walling joined as co-founder and CMO, bringing the business strategy needed to grow Metapyxl into a scalable company. Together the team built a platform that protects content, embeds licensing terms, and gives creators and enterprises the tools to control and profit from their work using forensic watermarking, embedded licensing, and content tracking built on C2PA standards.
Today Metapyxl is reshaping how rights travel with content, giving creators, brands, agencies, and enterprises the confidence to share their work knowing ownership and licensing terms go with it.
Our Mission
To give creators, brands, and enterprises the tools to protect their work, control how it's used, and get paid when it is.
Why It Matters
For too long, creators have seen their work used without credit, permission, or compensation. Rights get separated from content the moment it leaves their hands.
Metapyxl changes that. We embed ownership, licensing terms, and tracking directly into content so rights travel with the work wherever it goes. For creators, brands, agencies, and enterprises, that means less chasing and more control.
This isn’t just software, it’s a shift in digital ownership.
