  • METAPYXL™ is a digital rights management and licensing platform built for the AI era. It helps creators, brands, and organizations protect visual content, monitor where images appear online, and manage ownership and usage rights through embedded identifiers, content credentials, and structured licensing records.

    The platform combines three capabilities in one system: creator protection through continuous image tracking and detection, enterprise-grade brand and rights infrastructure for managing large-scale visual assets, and AI-era provenance and licensing tools that establish verifiable ownership and machine-readable usage signals.

    You do not need to be the original creator. Anyone authorized to manage rights for visual content can use METAPYXL™.

  • METAPYXL™ currently provides fully integrated workflows for digital images, including photographs, marketing visuals, product imagery, editorial content, and digital artwork. Audio watermarking capabilities are also available, and our modular architecture allows additional media protections to be deployed based on client needs.

CREATOR PROTECTION

  • METAPYXL™ continuously monitors the public web for appearances of your protected images, including copies that have been cropped, resized, color-adjusted, or otherwise altered. The tracking technology looks beyond simple file matching to identify visual similarities, so you can detect unauthorized usage even when images have been modified to avoid detection.

    When usage is found, it is logged with contextual details, where the image appeared, how it is being displayed, and relevant page information. This provides ongoing, automated visibility without requiring manual reverse image searches.

  • Detected usage is recorded and presented through structured reporting. Reports include the location and context of each usage instance, timestamps, historical tracking data, and licensing status indicators. These records can support internal review, licensing negotiations, compliance audits, or legal documentation.

    METAPYXL™ does not automatically enforce takedowns, the rights holder always decides how to respond. We are rolling out a takedown notice builder that helps you generate and export notices and supporting documentation for submission to platforms and hosts.

  • Yes. METAPYXL™ supports licensing-based monetization by helping rights holders define usage terms, track where images appear, and identify unlicensed or under-licensed usage. You can add direct purchase links to your assets, set up usage-based licensing terms, and use tracking data to discover high-performing content and optimize your licensing strategy.

ENTERPRISE BRAND & RIGHTS INFRASTRUCTURE

  • Yes. METAPYXL™ monitors where official product images and marketing assets appear online, helping organizations identify unauthorized listings, misuse of product imagery, or potential counterfeit activity. When unauthorized usage is detected, it is logged and made available through reporting that supports brand protection teams in investigating misuse, documenting violations, and taking appropriate action.

  • Users can attach structured ownership and licensing terms to images at the point of publication. These terms, including permitted uses, attribution requirements, geographic restrictions, and time-based limitations are managed through the platform. When a protected image is tracked online, its licensing terms travel with it, creating a persistent link between the content and its usage rules.

  • Yes. METAPYXL™ provides a secure REST API and webhook framework for customers who want to integrate protection, metadata management, monitoring, and licensing workflows into their own platforms, CMS environments, or publishing systems. Developers can programmatically create vaults, register assets, trigger watermarking and C2PA credential embedding, retrieve match results, access analytics, and receive real-time webhook notifications.

AI-ERA PROVENANCE & LICENSING

  • METAPYXL™ embeds cryptographically verifiable ownership and licensing data directly into your media using standards such as C2PA, creating tamper-evident provenance records that establish authorship and usage intent at the asset level. Through manifest metadata, creators can signal preferences regarding AI training and data mining declarations that travel with the asset and are designed to be interpreted by platforms and automated systems supporting responsible AI practices.

    The platform also monitors where your content appears online, helping identify potential scraping, dataset inclusion, or unauthorized reuse. When needed, structured evidence is provided to support licensing discussions or enforcement actions.

  • METAPYXL™ embeds structured ownership, licensing, and usage intelligence directly into your media using industry standards such as C2PA, along with proprietary identifiers linking each asset to its vault record. The metadata framework covers creator identity, copyright ownership, and descriptive metadata for clear attribution; optional IPTC fields and AI-assisted suggestions for discoverability and accessibility; AI usage governance controls for declaring whether content was AI-generated, AI-assisted, or human-created; and license type, terms, expiration, and publication status for documenting authorized versus unauthorized use.

TRUST & CONTROL

  • METAPYXL™ Lens is a browser extension that allows anyone viewing an image online to instantly access verified content credentials, licensing information, and creator details. Lens connects to the asset’s record in the METAPYXL™ Vault and displays creator-approved information across three tabs: a content snapshot with title, description, and creator details; trust and usage information with licensing terms and verification links; and a creator profile with professional information and contact details.

    Lens is not just informational, it enables action. Creators can embed active links that allow viewers to purchase image licenses, request usage rights, buy featured products, or visit official websites. This transforms static images into verified, interactive digital assets.

  • Creators, rights holders, and authorized representatives decide exactly which metadata fields appear in METAPYXL™ Lens and which remain stored privately in the Vault. This allows you to keep sensitive contractual or contact information private while displaying approved licensing and copyright information publicly. You can update public-facing information at any time.

    This structure makes METAPYXL™ suitable for individual creators managing their own work, galleries or estates managing artist portfolios, marketplaces onboarding licensed content, licensing agents representing talent, and brand owners overseeing official product imagery.
